We were so excited to have First Baptist Church Leachville, AR come and work on the mission house. Part of the team worked on the house and the others helped survey a neighborhood for a new church plant! God is good and we praise Him for His love for us!

Living for Him

Once again time is still at fast pace for me. The Lord continues to bless me and help me through each day. I have had lots of time to look back and see all the wonderful things that happened when Mark and I were in ministry together. Now looking forward I see that the Lord needs me to just focus on Him and the work I have left to do until He takes me home. I am currently working with Harmony Baptist Association and am also working as a Community Chaplain for FBC White Hall. I have taken some continuing Ed classes in Stress Management and Law Enforcement. I am looking forward to seeing what the Lord has planned for me. I am planning two foreign missions this year and am really pumped up about them. I will be working with children on both of these missions. Please continue to pray for me as I seek His face in the work I am called to do. I hope to post some of my Bible Studies on the blog. Mark was my computer man and the one who kept me a list of what I needed to do. LOL Yes he kept me in line. I miss him so much! God Bless you all. Hope to post again soon. Amanda

Time Moves ON

Wow February is almost gone. It just seems like yesterday when Mark and I were celebrating Valentine's Day together and now it has been almost 4 months that he passed away. I reflect back on what wonderful times we had together and am so blessed that I was able to spend part of my life with a man that trusted in the Lord and treated me like Christ treated the church. Even though many times I cry I can't help but be happy knowing the Mark is alive in the Lord. Time moves on and so do our lives until the day that the Lord also takes us home. The question is am I spending my time telling others that they can have this same wonderful hope in our Lord to spend eternity in this place we call Heaven. Mark had a great influence on many people before his passing. I will never understand why he is gone but I do know that my life must still be used in serving Him who saved me from all unrighteousness.
